I can’t believe it. The Truman Show has officially come to an end. After so many years, so many experiences, it’s finally over.
I remember being 7 years old when Truman was born. I basically grew up with him.
After so many years of living inside a gigantic TV set, Truman finally walked through that door and chose the real world — our world.
Yes, his entire life was controlled by Christof and the production team. His relationships, his job, his home and even his fears were manipulated.
Yes, he deserves to be free, but will he be any freer out here?
I mean, as soon as he walked through that door, he lost all his identity, beliefs and moral sense. I’m afraid that he won’t be able to adapt to the real world.
Won’t all the chaos and cruelty out here be too much for him to handle? He has never experienced true crime, hate, real criticism or even someone who was slightly mean to him.
He doesn’t have any valid education, job experience or even an actual ID.
His only dream and motivation to leave that place was to discover the truth and travel the world. But how successful will he be out here?
And what about the girl he had fallen in love with back then? Will he still love her, or was he in love with the idea of her? Wanting someone you can’t have can be very different from actually being with them. Will having her really satisfy all his wants and needs?
Truman, if you’re reading this, I promise you that I will take care of you. I will help you travel the world. I will help you see, experience and buy things you can’t even imagine. I’m offering you endless support in anything you want to do in YOUR life. I can guarantee you the freedom you dream of.
You’re such an inspiration to so many people. We all want to see you succeed in life. In return, all you will have to do is inspire your fans. Show them how to conquer their fears, overcome every obstacle in life and become free.
